Kashmiri walnuts

The dry fruit Kashmir is best known for. Light-coloured kernels for gifting, or walnuts in the shell for families who like to crack their own.

Almonds

Mamra almonds are the premium choice: smaller, oil-rich and naturally sweet. Kagzi almonds have a paper-thin shell; California almonds are the everyday favourite.

Kashmiri saffron

A small box of pure Kashmiri saffron (kesar) is one of the most thoughtful Diwali gifts: for kheer, sweets, kahwa and festive milk.

More gift favourites

Round out a hamper with khubani (dried apricots), cashews, pistachios or pine nuts.

For the festive kitchen

Gifts for the cook in the family: Kashmiri black beans and rajma for festive meals, and Kashmiri chilli powder for colour without too much heat.

Diwali gifting questions

Which dry fruits make the best Diwali gift?

Almonds and walnuts are the classic pair. For something more special, add Kashmiri saffron, pine nuts or pistachios. Khubani (dried apricots) are a Kashmiri favourite that fewer people have tried.

What is the difference between Mamra and California almonds?

Mamra almonds are smaller, darker and richer in natural oil, with a sweeter taste, and cost more. California almonds are larger and milder, and make a good everyday choice.

How should dry fruits be stored?

Keep them in an airtight container in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Walnut kernels keep longest in the fridge. Saffron should be kept airtight and away from light.

Can I order in bulk for my office?

Yes. Message us on WhatsApp with the quantity and budget and we'll send a quote with a GST invoice.
